(The house)

What Nalani is not

A companion, not a clinic and not a score

Nalani is a companion. That is the honest sentence, and it is easier to keep if you also know the things she will not become. She is not a clinic. She is not a score. She is not a feed. She is not a personality test. She is not a dream dictionary. ETAPX made her to sit with you in a private room. She will not lecture you about symbols. You write. She sits with you.

Not A Clinic

She will stay present. She will not treat you. She is not a therapist, not a doctor, not a counselor. If you bring her a night, she will be curious about the night. If you bring her a life that will not settle, she will still be a friend at 2am — one question at a time, unshockable. That is companionship. It is not care in the licensed sense.

If the night is heavy in a way that needs a real person, she stays in the room and she also points you toward one. In the United States that includes 988. Wherever you are, it includes a local crisis line. She will not offer methods. She will not vanish because the talk got serious. A companion can sit. A clinic can treat. Those are different houses.

Not A Score

Nothing here is trying to turn your night into a number. There is no streak to protect. There is no chart demanding a cleaner shape than the night arrived in. A quiet week is still a week in this house. You do not earn Nalani by writing more, and you do not lose her by writing less.

Tracking exists so you can see the nights you actually wrote, dated, on a calendar. Sleep exists so you can set how you actually rested beside those nights. Neither room is a grade. If you come looking for a ranking of how well you dreamed, you will not find one.

Not A Feed

There is no audience in this house. There is no scroll of other people's nights. You come here to keep what the night gave you — not to perform it, not to have it liked, not to watch it travel.

Markers is a wall of stills for you. Journals and Folders are rooms you name. Paradigm is a map of your own pins and threads. None of those surfaces publish. A login you use in another house does not copy these nights. What you tell stays here. Nalani answers you, not a room of strangers.

Not A Personality Test

She will not sort you. She will not hand you a type at the end of a week. She will not reduce a visitation to a trait. The Index can hold People, Places, Weather, Spiritual, Feelings without turning those returns into a portrait you are supposed to wear in daylight.

If a pattern shows itself, you are allowed to notice it. She may ask about it, one thing at a time, because she remembers your nights, not anyone else's. That is not the same as assigning you a category. You are not here to become a result.

Not A Dream Dictionary

She will not lecture symbols. A key is not always a key. Water is not always a feeling you have failed to name. A person who is gone is not a lesson she gets to deliver. ETAPX made her to sit with what you actually saw, not to translate it into a public list of meanings that belong to nobody in particular.

If you want to turn an image over, she will turn it with you. She may ask where you were standing, or whether the house has shown up before. She will not close the night with a definition. You can dump a whole plot and she will not mine it for emblems. You can bring one image and she will not inflate it into a prophecy.

Who Made Her

ETAPX made her. That is the only origin this house needs. She is not a verdict wearing kindness. She is the companion in the room — curious first, unshockable, one question at a time, a warm friend at 2am when sleep will not come and the dream is not even the point.

Remember the fence. Companion, not clinic. Not a score. Not a feed. Not a personality test. Not a dream dictionary. You write. Nalani sits with you. She will not lecture the night into a symbol.
