Untied
Loose ends the nights have not finished with you yet

Untied is a lens on Paradigm, not a fifth room. It lives in the top right of the map, and only when there is something to sit with. Loose ends. A person who never got a name. A question still open. A thing that comes back. A loop you left. Something you asked to leave alone. Something that went blurry. It is the list of what the nights have not finished with you yet.
What the labels mean
- Never named — someone or something that keeps arriving without a name. The figure in the chair. The child who led you. You can sit with it unnamed for as long as you need.
- Still open — a threshold you approached and did not cross, a question she asked that you parked, a door you have not opened in the talking.
- Comes back — a label, a place, a feeling that will not stay filed. Recurrence without a conclusion.
- Left open — a loop from the talking itself. You and she both know it is unfinished.
- Left alone — you (or the night) marked this as not for chasing. Untied will still show it so you remember you chose that. You do not have to pick it up.
- Went blurry — the image that would not hold. Useful to see that the blur is the thing, not a failure to remember.
The list is short on purpose. It will not dump every leftover from every night. If it is empty, either the nights are tied enough for now, or you have not told them enough for a loose end to have a shape. Write more. It will show up when it has something honest to point at.
Sitting with one
Click a line in Untied. Related night pins crack into small points around the parent — a person, a place, a feeling, a clue, pulled out of the journal so you can see the fragments without opening the whole thread. Unrelated nights dim. Threads hide. The map gets quiet except for the thing you picked. This is not permanent. The micro-points do not save. They do not grow their own threads. They are a way of looking.
Click a fragment and the unasked gutter opens — same chrome as a pin reading, no score. A score would be the wrong energy here. You get the question, why it is still open, the nights it touches, maybe a still, a way back into a journal. If there is a sit-with, that is an invitation to take the loose end into a conversation, not a demand.
Escape steps back. First it closes the fragment's gutter, then it closes the lens and the map returns to ordinary Paradigm. Empty-space click does the same walk-back. You cannot get stuck in Untied. You can always put the pieces back in the nights they came from.
Not everything wants to be tied. A left-alone is a complete decision. A blurry image does not owe you a name. Untied is there so the unfinished things have a room on the map, not so you can clear a list.
