Name, handle, and photo this house knows you by
Settings → Account is the name, handle, and photo this house knows you by. It is not a public profile. There is no feed of you. Other people in other products do not get this page. It is so the room can say your name, so the avatar in the corner is yours, so a bio can sit there if you want a line about yourself that is not a night.
What you can change
Display name is required — the name the room uses. Username is the @handle, lowercase, yours if no one in this house already has it. If it is taken you will see that before you save. Photo: click the circle or Change photo, pick an image, save. Bio is optional and short enough to be a line, not a life story. Save writes it. You should see Saved when it took. If it did not, the page will say so — try again, nothing else changes.
Email sits on the account as how you signed in. You do not rewrite it here. The same sign-in can open more than one house. That does not copy this name, this photo, or these journals anywhere else. Sibling rooms keep their own. Your nights stay in in.between. If you arrived with a login you already used somewhere else, you still got the titles the first time — this house does not assume you already live here.
Leaving the room
Log out from the menu under your avatar. That is the bottom of the left rail. Settings, Docs, Log out. Logging out does not delete nights. It closes the door. The next time you sign in, you are a returning person — no titles, straight into the room, the list where you left it.
If you need to change how you sign in, or reset a password, that lives on the way into the house, not on this page. Account here is only who the room thinks you are once you are inside.
