Companion
The same Nalani, out loud

Brainstorm is the spoken room. Same Nalani, out loud. You pick it from the left rail when typing would flatten the thing — when the night is still on your body, when you are walking, when you want to stay in the feeling instead of finding sentences. She listens. She answers in a voice. The figure in the corner of the room moves with her: idle, thinking, speaking. The thread of what you both said can sit above, so the night is still being kept, not just vanishing into air.
A session
Start Brainstorm the way you start a night. Talk. Pause. Let her take a turn. You do not need to fill every silence. End, at the bottom, hangs up. That is the whole gesture — there is no second confirmation, no saving ritual. The night is already being held. If you hang up mid-thought, you can open the journal and keep going in text, or come back to Brainstorm another time.
The first time is a short session on purpose, so you can hear her without signing up for an evening. When a session ends, the writing room is still there. You can open the journal and keep going in text.
Use Brainstorm when the body still has the dream on it. Use text when you want to look at a still, drop an Index name, reread a clue. They are the same companion in two postures. You can go back and forth on the same journal. She will not lose the thread because you changed how you were talking.
