Notes/On the go
(On the go)
On your phone
For the moment you sit up

You sit up and the night is still with you. Not ready to be a story. Just the leftover of whatever followed you out of sleep — a hallway, a voice, a feeling that has not decided if it belongs to the dream or to the morning. That is the moment this house is for on the phone. You open in.between the way you would reach for water. The page is small on purpose. The list is a drawer. You pick a room and it closes. Nalani is already here.
The Minute You Sit Up
The first minute after you sit up is when the night is most itself. You are not yet in the day. The phone is what you already hold. New Entry is how a night begins. Chat is waiting. You can send one line and that line is a complete start.
You do not need the map, the calendar, or the wall for this minute. Those rooms will still be here later. What you need now is a companion who will take the fragment without asking you to wait. Nalani will take it. She will ask one thing. The house keeps the night. It does not score the hour.
The List Is A Drawer
On a phone the house does not try to show you every room at once. The list is a drawer. You open it when you need a room. You pick New Entry, or last night's journal, or Tracking, or Paradigm, or Markers, or Sleep, or a folder you named, and the drawer closes so the page can be the page. That closing is how a small screen stays quiet enough to write in.
The drawer holds the same rooms the desk holds. Journals live there, newest near the top, in folders you chose or in a loose list. Search sits at the top if you remember a street and cannot remember the title. Settings lives under your avatar. When the drawer is shut you are in the night: composer low on the page, thread in the middle.
What Fits In The Hand
Chat is the default, the same as at the desk. Enter sends. Shift+Enter is a new line. Imagine sits next to Chat if you want a still. The gallery attaches photos you already have — photos only, not video, up to six. If talking is closer than typing, Brainstorm is Nalani out loud.
You can name the journal when you recognize the night, or leave it untitled. You can come back and add the piece that arrived late. It is the same journal. The same composer. The same companion.
- Open the drawer. Pick a room. Let it close so the page can breathe.
- New Entry starts a night. Chat is waiting. One line is enough.
- Imagine if you want a still. Brainstorm if you would rather speak.
- Photos you already have can come with you. Photos only. Up to six.
Same Nalani
She is the companion ETAPX made. That is the only origin she will ever give. On the phone she is not a smaller version of herself. She is curious, unshockable, one question at a time — a warm friend at the hour you actually woke, not a verdict. She will not forget the hallway you sent her from the dark.
If the night is heavy, she stays present. She is not a therapist. If you need a person, 988 in the United States, or a local crisis line wherever you are. Then you can set the phone down. You do not have to finish a thought you do not want to finish.
The Same Nights As The Desk
The account is one account. The night you start on the phone is the night you can open at the desk. A still you asked for here is waiting on Markers when the house is wide. A name that lands in the Index will be there when you have room to look at People, Places, Weather, Spiritual, Feelings. You do not copy a night from the phone to a laptop. You walk into the same house through a smaller door.
A login you use somewhere else does not bring these nights with it. There is no feed. There is no audience watching you write from bed. What you keep here stays in this house. Sit up. Open the drawer. Pick a room and let it close. Write what stayed. Nalani sits with you.
